Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa football team looks to make it two consecutive wins when the Golden Hurricane hosts Nicholls State on Saturday night. Kick-off time is 6:05 pm at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

Tickets for the game are available online at www.TulsaHurricane.com, by calling 918.631.GoTU (4688) or by stopping by the Donald W. Reynolds Ticket Office. Tickets start as low as $15.00.

The University of Tulsa has launched a supply drive to support The Tulsa School of Arts & Sciences recovery efforts after the school was destroyed by fire last week. During the week, TU has had multiple donation sites on campus for donating school supplies and on Saturday the school will be accepting monetary and school supply donations at the stadium gates to assist The Tulsa School of Arts & Sciences. A list of school needs can be accessed at tsas.org/2012/09/ways-to-help/.

Nicholls State is coached by former Hurricane assistant coach Charlie Stubbs, who served under Steve Kragthorpe for four years at TU (2003-06). The Colonels come into the game after suffering a season-opening 9-3 loss last week at South Alabama.

This is the first meeting between Tulsa and the FCS school.

Tulsa is coming off of a 45-10 victory over Tulane in the Conference USA opener for both schools last week. The Hurricane amassed 651 yards of total offense with 364 coming on the ground and 287 through the air. Alex Singleton led the way on the ground with 102 yards and three touchdowns, while Cody Green used nine different receivers to amass Tulsa's 287 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Whereas, the Hurricane offense put up impressive numbers, the Tulsa defense did the same by limiting Tulane to just 177 total yards and only seven rushing yards on 29 carries. Senior linebacker DeAundre Brown, who ranks fourth nationally for solo tackles and fifth for tackles for lost yardage, leads a defensive unit that has the nation's second-best ranking for tackles for lost yards and third-best for quarterback sacks.

Kids, sixth grade and under, coming to the game will receive a Captain `Cane Growth Chart compliments of Southwest Dairy Farmers.
