Sept. 18, 2013

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa announced its non-conference football schedule for the 2014 season today.

Tulsa will play two games on the road to start the non-conference portion of the schedule. Tulsa returns the home game played this year against Colorado State in Fort Collins on Sept. 6. A week later, the first-ever meeting against Florida Atlantic University will take place on Sept. 13, as Tulsa travels to Boca Raton, Florida. The FAU contest is the first of a home-and-home series against the Owls, as FAU comes to H.A. Chapman Stadium in the 2015 season. FAU became a member of Conference USA this July 1.

Tulsa hosts the Oklahoma Sooners on Sept. 20 and the Texas State Bobcats on Sept. 27. TSU, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, will host Tulsa in 2018 on the San Marcos campus. The Bobcats, who are coached by Dennis Franchione, entered the Sun Belt Conference this year after playing in the Western Athletic Conference in the 2012 season.
