Shoals, a junior from Enid, Oklahoma (Fort Scott CC), caught 11 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns at New Mexico State. The receiving total is the third highest in both WAC and Tulsa history. His two touchdowns came on passes of 11 and 76 yards. Shoals also had receptions covering 43 and 50 yards. The performance marked Tulsa's first 200-plus receiving game since 1993.
