Jacksonville, Fla. - Due to heavy rains in the Jacksonville area and extremely wet course conditions, the 2013 John Hayt Collegiate Invitational was shortened to 36 holes with Monday's results serving as the final. This marks the first time the Hayt has not gone all 54 holes.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men finished in eighth place with a 36-hole score of 589 at the par-72 Sawgrass Country Club. Junior Logan McCracken placed 12th overall with an even-par score of 144. Tulsa trailed fourth-place by just two strokes as there was a four-team logjam for the fourth position with identical scores of 587 for the tournament.

Tulsa is in action at the 28th Annual Louisiana Classics next Monday-Tuesday, March 4-5, at the Oakbourne Country Club.
