Tulsa Golfers Finish Third at 25th Annual Louisiana Classic

Lafayette, Louisiana - The Tulsa men's golfers turned in a third-place finish with a seven-over par 871, carding rounds of 289-283-299, at the par 72 Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Stephen Carney earned a team-leading seventh-place mark with an even-par 216 total, while Chris Worrell was two strokes back in 15th place. Rob Laird and Arie Fauzi posted identical 221 scores to tie for 24th place, and Andre' Tourinho was 28th with a 222 total.
LSU captured the team title with an even-par 864 score, Illinois was two strokes back for second place and Tulsa was third.
LSU's Andrew Loupe earned the individual title, after carding rounds of 74-67-67, to finish eight strokes under par.
