Austin, Texas - The Tulsa men's golf team is in 12th place after two rounds at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate at the University of Texas Golf Club in Austin, Texas. The Hurricane carded rounds of 298 and 308 for a 606 total and heads into Tuesday's final round action 29 strokes out of first place.
Fifth-ranked Oklahoma State has the first day lead with a nine-over par 577 after rounds of 291 and 286. Rounding out the top-five teams are #20 UNLV (580), #49 Texas (581), #14 Auburn (586) and #17 UCF (587).
Junior Nicolas Geyger paced TU with rounds of 73 and 75 for a six-over par 148 for a 26th-place performance. Classmate Ryan Brooks is two strokes back in 34th place with an eight-over par 150.
Ville Vaisanen and Rob Laird are tied for 57th-place with two-round totals of 155, while Philip Reiser is in 63rd-place with a 157.
Texas' Charlie Holland leads the individual race with a one-under par 141, but four players are just one stroke behind with 142 totals.
Final round action will take place on Tuesday.
