Scottsdale, Arizona - Tulsa junior Logan McCracken finished in second place individually and led the Golden Hurricane team to a third-place finish at the 36-hole Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Tuesday. McCracken fired a four-under par 66 in leading Tulsa to a round of three-under par 277 for a 582 total score.

McCracken finished in a four-way tie for second place and was two strokes behind UC Santa Barbara's Glen Scher's two-under par 138 winning score, while the Hurricane team jumped up from sixth place after the first day.

In addition to McCracken's under-par score, Tulsa senior Chris Worrell also tallied an under-par score for the Hurricane on Tuesday with a one-under 69 at the par-70 Talking Stick North Course. Sophomore Colton Staggs carded an even-par 70 in his final round and placed 19th overall after finishing with a six-over par 146 total. Worrell finished the two-day tournament with a score of 148 for 33rd place.

Tulsa also had solid rounds from junior Mark Mumford and sophomore Matt Mabrey with scores of 72 and 73, respectively. Mabrey's three-over par 73, however, did not count in the team scoring. Mabrey finished in 40th place with a 149 total, while Mumford placed 72nd with a 36-hole total of 153.

Gonzaga overtook first-round leader Wichita State to claim the team title with a 14-over par 574 as Colorado finished six strokes back in second place with a score of 580. Tulsa and St. Mary's tied for third place with scores of 582 and Arizona rounded out the top-five with a score of 584.

Tulsa will be back in action at the Conference USA Championships, April 21-23, at the Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Arkansas.
