Tulsa Golfers in 11th-Place at River Landing Intercollegiate

Wallace, N.C. - The Tulsa men's golf team is in 11th place after two rounds at the River Landing Intercollegiate at the par 72 River Course in Wallace, North Carolina. TU carded a 302 in the second round for a two-day 598 total.
With a 286 score today, 35th-ranked North Carolina State jumped three spots and tied 16th-ranked Duke with a 36-hole 574 total. Eighteenth-ranked Wake Forest owns a two-round 581 total, while Memphis (582) and #8 Florida State (583) round out the top-five teams.
Nicolas Geyger continues to lead the Golden Hurricane as he sits in ninth-place with a 144, but it was Rob Laird who carded the best round of the day for TU with a 73 to move into 10th place with a 145 total. Ryan Brooks tallied a 77 in both rounds for a 154 and 64th-place, while Ville Vaisanen is one stroke back with a 155. Philip Reiser is in 82nd place with a 161.
Wake Forest's 11th-ranked Webb Simpson shot an even par 72 for a two-day 139 total and the lead, but North Carolina State's Kent Copeland and Duke's 52nd-ranked Michael Schachner are right on his heals with 140 totals.
The tournament concludes on Sunday with the final 18 holes.
