Pacific Palisades, Calif. - Tulsa is in 30th place after 36 holes at the NCAA Men's Golf Championship. The Hurricane carded second round score of 307 on Wednesday for a two-day total of 613 at the par-71 Riviera Country Club.

Second-ranked Alabama continues to lead the field with a total score of 572 after a round of 287 today. Fifth-ranked UCLA is four strokes behind the Crimson Tide with a 576 total, while 19th-ranked Florida State is in third place. Oklahoma and North Florida are tied for fourth place with scores of 581.

Tulsa junior Chris Worrell carded a round of 75 on Wednesday and sits in 69th place with a score of 149. Starting on hole 10, Worrell birdied his first hole and had two more birdies on his first nine holes. Freshman Matt Mabrey has a two-day score of 151 for 92nd place after a score of 75 today.

Sophomore John Young Kim scored a round of six-over par 77 and is in 132nd place with a total score of 155. Junior Mark Mumford is in 149th place with a score of 159, while freshman Colton Staggs is in 153rd place with a two-day total of 162 after today's score of 80.

Individually, Illinois' Thomas Pieters, ranked 70th nationally, leads the field with a five-under par score 137 after carding a three-under par total of 68 today. UCLA's Anton Arboleda, the 77th-ranked player in the country, and Florida's Tyler McCumber are tied for second place with three-under par scores of 139.

The third and final round of stroke play competition will take place on Thursday. After tomorrow's 18 holes, the top-8 teams will advance to match play with the NCAA Champion being crowned on Sunday.
