Broken Arrow, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's golf team is in third place at the ORU Shootout after firing a two-round 612 total on Monday at the Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Okla.

Senior Rob Laird sits in a tie for 10th place overall with an eight-over par 152 total, and sophomore Andre' Tourinho is in a tie for 13th place after shooting a nine-over par 153 total. Freshman Chris Worrell is in a tie for 16th place with a 10-over par 154 total.

The Golden Hurricane is seven shots back of leader Texas State, who shot an opening day 605 total.

The ORU Shootout concludes tomorrow at the par-72 Golf Club of Oklahoma in Broken Arrow, Okla.
