Tulsa Men Finish Seventh at Rod Myers Invitational

DURHAM, N.C. - Junior Arie Fauzi tied for fifth place and the Tulsa men's golf team finished seventh Monday at the Rod Myers Invitational at the par-72 Duke Golf Club.
The Golden Hurricane shot a team-total 875 for the tournament, including a 296 in the final round. Junior Arie Fauzi shot a74 in the third round to finish with a 213 and tie for fifth place. Sophomore Chris Worrell shot a team-best 72 Monday, and finished with a three-round total of 224.
Juniors Stephen Carney and Andre Tourinho posted equal totals of 221 to tie for 32nd. Carney shot a 74 in the final round, and Tourinho shot a 76 Monday. Freshman Johannes Veerman carded a 76 in the third round to finish with a 225.
Iowa took home the team title with an 851 for the tournament, and North Carolina State's Albin Choi won individual medal honors with a 211.
