Tulsa Golfers in 11th Place at Rod Myers Invitational

Durham, NC - The Tulsa men's golf team sits in 12th place at the Rod Myers Invitational after carding a 36-hole total of 592 on Saturday from the par-72 Duke Golf Club. The Hurricane opened with a first round score of 302, but shot 12 strokes better in second round action for a two-over par 290.
Tulsa's Logan McCracken sits in 10th place with a two-under total of 142. He shot an opening 18-hole score of 72 and followed that up with a two-under par 70. Colton Staggs is in 37th place with a 148 total, while Matt Mabrey is in 43rd place with a 149 score. Both Staggs and Mabrey carded better second round scores as Staggs was two shots better with a one-over par 73 and Mabrey had a one-under par 71, seven strokes better than his first round total of 78.
Northwestern's Matt Fitzpatrick and Jack Perry sit in first and second-place, respectively, as the duo led the Wildcats to a 12-stoke lead over second-place North Carolina and Baylor. Northwestern sits at 13-under par 563, while North Carolina and Baylor are tied for second place at 575. Liberty is in third place with a 576 total, while Duke and East Carolina are tied for fifth place at 578
The tournament will conclude with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
