Tulsa Golfers Place 11th at Rod Myers Invitational

Durham, NC - The Tulsa men's golf team finished in 11th place at the Rod Myers Invitational on Sunday. The Hurricane carded a final round 297 for a 54-hole total of 889 at the par-72 Duke Golf Club.
Tulsa's Logan McCracken also placed 11th individually with a one-over par 217 total after turning in a round of 75 today.
The Tulsa duo of Colton Staggs and Matt Mabrey tied for 32nd place at six-over par 222. Mabrey had a one-over par score of 73, while Staggs was two-over par today with a round of 74. Mark Mumford finished in 51st place with a 228 total after today's score of 75, followed by Matthew Marquez at 239 for 64th place.
Northwestern's Matt Fitzpatrick and Jack Perry led Northwestern to the team title as the pair tied for individual medalist honors with nine-under par scores of 207.
Tulsa will be back in action to close out the fall season at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate, November 4-5.
