SHREVEPORT, La. - Tulsa sophomore John Young Kim finished in a tie for sixth place with a three-round total of 216 at the David Toms Intercollegiate at the par-72, 7,048-yard Southern Trace Country Club.

The Golden Hurricane tied for fifth place with a team-total 878 after posting a 296 Tuesday. Kim shot a 75 in the final round to finish at even par and tie for sixth with three other players.

Junior Chris Worrell tied for 14th after shooting a 219, including a 73 in the final round. Senior Andre' Tourinho carded a 1-under par 71 in the third round to tie for 22nd with a three-round 221. Senior Arie Fauzi posted a tournament-total 227 after shooting 77 Tuesday, while senior Stephen Carney totaled a 232, including an 81 in the final round.

TU tied with Louisiana-Lafayette for fifth place, while Oklahoma took home the team title with a three-round total of 862. Andrew Noto of Louisiana-Lafayette claimed individual medalist honors with a tournament-total 208, including a 68 Tuesday. Kim tied with Sang Yi of LSU, and Abraham Ancer and Eduardo Castiello of Oklahoma for sixth place.

The Golden Hurricane will play its final tournament of the fall Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate in Dallas.
