Dallas, Texas - The Tulsa men's golf team finished tied for ninth place on Tuesday at the Baylor Intercollegiate at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, Texas. Sophomore Arie Fauzi turned in his best performance of the fall season with a one-under par 212 total to place seventh overall.

The Golden Hurricane completed yesterday's suspended second round with a 295 total, followed by a tournament-best 288 third round total to finish with a 31-over par 883 score for the tournament.

Senior Rob Laird tied for 23rd with a 219 (+6) total, followed by sophomore Andre' Tourinho in a tie for 42nd with an 11-over par 224 total. Freshman Chris Worrell finished 58th with a 232 (+19) total and freshman Mark Mumford tied for 59th with a 234 (+21) total.

Ninth-ranked Texas A&M repeated as champion with an 848 (-4) score, followed by 36th-ranked SMU with an 851 (-1) score and 39th-ranked Iowa in third place with an 865 (+13) total.

SMU's James Kwon won the individual title for the second-straight year with an impressive six-under par 207 score.

Tulsa is done for the fall and returns to play on Feb. 15 at the UTSA Invitational in San Antonio, Texas.
