Jacksonville, FL - Tulsa's Logan McCracken turned in a four-under par 68 on Tuesday to capture individual medalist honors at the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate and lead the Golden Hurricane to a second-place team finish.

McCracken came into the day in a three-way tie for second place and one stroke off the lead. He finished the 54-hole event with a five-under par 211, a five-stroke victory over the second-place competitor, Scott Wolfes of Georgia Southern. The individual victory was McCracken's first career win after transferring to Tulsa from Texas Tech.

Despite the best team round of the day of one-over par 289 by Tulsa, Vanderbilt held off the Hurricane to claim the team title with a 12-over par 876 score. Tulsa finished at 20-over par 884 for the tournament, while Mercer placed third at 889 with Troy and Southeastern Louisiana tying for fourth place at 890.

Tulsa junior Matt Mabrey had a two-under par score of 70 today and finished at three-over par 219 for seventh place. Junior Colton Staggs shot one-over par 73 for a 227 total and 31st place in the field of 83 golfers.

Senior Mark Mumford turned in a score of 78 today for a 229 total and 42nd place. Freshman Francisco Yanez withdrew during final round action.

Tulsa has concluded the fall season and will start the spring tournament schedule, February 9-10, at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational in San Antonio, Texas.
