University of Tulsa golfer David Inglis was named the Western Athletic Conference's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office today.

Inglis, a freshman from Roslin, Scotland, captured his first collegiate victory at the LSU Spring Invitational last week. He fired rounds of 73-68-70 for a five-under par 211 in the 18-team field.

The first-place performance was his seventh top-20 finish in seven tournaments this season. On the year, Inglis has a 71.8 stroke average. He is also the 68th-ranked golfer in the nation according to the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings.

The Tulsa men are currently in action at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, Louisiana.
