The Woodlands, Texas - The Tulsa men's golf team will compete at the 2012 The Woodlands All-American Intercollegiate, Monday-Tuesday, April 9-10. The Hurricane will play in the 15-team field at the par-72, 7,018-yard The Woodlands Country Club.

Tulsa junior Chris Worrell leads the Hurricane with a 73.3 stroke average in 24 rounds of golf, while placing among the top-15 three times this season. Freshman Matt Mabrey has turned in top-20 performances in each of the last two tournaments, finishing fourth at the Louisiana Classics and the Desert Shootout.

Worrell and Mabrey will be joined in the Tulsa lineup for the All-American by junior Mark Mumford, and seniors Stephen Carney and Andre' Tourinho.

The 15-team field includes Arkansas, Baylor, Clemson, host Houston, Lamar, UL-Lafayette, North Texas, Notre Dame, Rice, SMU, SE Louisiana, Texas A&M, Texas State, Tulsa and UT-Arlington. The teams will tee-off with a shotgun start on Monday at 8:30 am with the first 18 of 36 holes on Monday. The final round of 18 holes will be played on Tuesday as the teams will tee-off at both the No. 1 and 10 holes.

Live scoring will be available at Golfstat.com throughout the two-day, 54-hole tournament.
