Tulsa's Worrell Repeat Performer on C-USA All-Academic Golf Team

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa junior men's golfer Chris Worrell was named to the Conference USA Men's Golf Academic Team for a second consecutive year, the league office announced today. Worrell has maintained a 3.84 grade point average in business management and is one of three repeat performers named to this year's golf academic team. The junior from Enid, Oklahoma has a team-leading 73.2 stroke average in 27 rounds of golf this year. He had a season-best ninth-place performance at the Northern Intercollegiate and has placed among the top-25 four times. Worrell has played in 33 career events and has finished among the top-20 at 10 of those tournaments. Tulsa will compete at the Conference USA Men's Golf Championships beginning this weekend, April 22-24, at the Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Arkansas.
