Indianapolis, Indiana - The University of Tulsa men's golf team has qualified for the NCAA Regional Championship for the 14th time since the regional format was incorporated in 1989, and for the 10th straight season.

The Hurricane will participate in the Central Regional, May 15-17, at the Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kansas.

In seven spring tournaments, the Hurricane has placed first once and finished in second-place three times. Before the NCAA Central Regional, Tulsa will participate in The Perry Maxwell Intercollegiate, May 10-11, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Tulsa is led by junior All-America candidate David Inglis. Inglis is ranked 12th nationally and has placed among the top-10 in nine of 10 tournaments this season. He has finished among the top-three in each of his last six tournaments, including wins at the Louisiana Classic and for the third straight year at the WAC Championships.

Tulsa is one of four Western Athletic Conference teams selected for the NCAA Regionals. The others include Fresno State, UTEP and SMU.

A total of 27 teams and six individuals have been selected for three regional sites, with ten teams and two individuals advancing from each regional to the championships finals. The NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships will be conducted May 27-30 at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
