Tulsa's Mabrey and McCracken Tied for 46th Place at NCAA Regional

Columbia, Mo. - University of Tulsa golfers Matt Mabrey and Logan McCracken, playing as individuals at the NCAA Columbia Regional, are tied for 46th place after opening round action at the par-72 Club at Old Hawthorne course.
Mabrey had four bogeys on the day for his four-over par score of 76, shooting two-over on the front nine and two-over on the back nine.
McCracken had a more interesting round as he went one-under par with a birdie on the par-3 second hole and finished the first nine holes at one-over par. On the back nine, McCracken had two birdies, two double bogeys and one bogey to card a three-over par score on his final nine holes for an 18-hole total of 76.
In the team race, Oklahoma State leads the field with a 16-over par 272 score, while host Missouri is in second place with a seen-under par score of 281. OSU's Jordan Niebrugge leads in the individual race with a seven-under par 65.
The Columbia Regional tournament field includes 14 teams and five individuals for a total of 75 participants, as the low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals, May 23-28, at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.
