Tulsa Names Andrew Crabtree as Assistant Men's Golf Coach

Tulsa, Oklahoma - University of Tulsa named Andrew Crabtree as the school's first full-time assistant men's golf, it was announced today by men's golf coach Bill Brogden.

Crabtree comes to Tulsa after serving as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of South Florida women's golf team. Over the last year, Crabtree has also served as a professional caddie at the Old Memorial Golf Club in Land O' Lakes Florida.

Before that, Crabtree spent three years as an Admissions recruiter for his alma mater, South Florida. Previously, he was the manager of Junior Golf for the Florida State Golf Association for two years, where he was the tournament director for the Florida State Golf Association and USGA Golf Championships.

A 1999 graduate of South Florida, Crabtree was a four-year letterman and as a senior earned Academic All-America honors and was selected as the Conference USA Student-Athlete of the Year for Golf.

In 1994, Crabtree was the Oklahoma Junior State Champion. He qualified for the 1999 U.S. Amateur at Pebble beach and the 2000 British Amateur at Royal Liverpool.
