Tulsa Men's Golf Team to play at the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate

Golden Hurricane gear up for second tournament of the fall

Somis, California - The Tulsa men's golf team will play in the Pepperdine Club Glove Intercollegiate at the par-72 Saticoy Country Club course, Monday-Tuesday, October 6-7. The Hurricane is one of 12 teams competing for tournament title at the 54-hole event.

The other participating teams include Arizona State, Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Colorado, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, New Mexico, Pepperdine, Texas A&M and UC Irvine. Tulsa is making its first appearance at the Club Glove Intercollegiate.

Tulsa is led by seniors David Inglis and Chris Noel. A two-time All-America selection, Inglis has placed among the top-10 in 24 of 41 collegiate tournaments. Noel has finished among the top-20 17 times as a collegian.

In Tulsa's first event, the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, freshman Tully Coyle paced the Hurricane to a 13th place performance. Coyle, one of five freshmen on this year's team, placed 31st overall. Inglis finished in 41st place and freshman Ryan Henry finished in 47th place.
