The Tulsa men's golf team is in fourth place following two rounds on Monday at the 15-team Purina Golf Classic at the Missouri Bluffs Country Club in St. Charles, Missouri.

As a team, the Hurricane scored rounds of 297 and 281 on the par-71 course for a 36-hole total of 10-over par 578. Tulsa trails first-place Missouri by eight strokes. The host Tigers scored a two-over par 570, followed by 12th-ranked Kansas' 572 and Baylor's 576.

Individually, Tulsa freshman David Inglis fired a three-under par 139 with rounds of 72 and 67 to finish the two rounds in a five-way tie for first place. Inglis is tied with Missouri's Mark McBride and Chris Harp, Baylor's Jimmy Walker and Kansas' Travis Hurst.

Fellow freshman Logan Goettsch is in 11th place after a one-over par 143 round. Goettsch carded a 75 on the first 18 holes, and when playing the same 18 later in the day improved by seven strokes for a three-under par 68.

Sophomore Billy Lowry had rounds of 74-75 for a 50th place total of 149, followed by freshman Neil Trimm's 150 and junior Kevin Henry's 151.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday with 18 holes.
