Tulsa Places Second at Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate Oct. 31, 2000 Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa men's golf team finished in second-place at the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The Hurricane entered the final round in first-place after rounds of 283-283, and shot a final round 292 to finish with a six-under par 858. LSU shot a final round of 286 for a two-stroke victory with an eight-under par 856 to overtake the Hurricane. After Tulsa, UAB placed third followed by Vanderbilt and College of Charleston to round out the top-five. Freshman David Inglis carded a five-under par 211 with rounds of 70-70-71 for fifth-place, just five strokes off the individual lead. Fellow freshmen Logan Goettsch shot a three-under par 213 for eighth place, and Chris Noel placed 12th with aone-over par 217. Junior Kevin Henry carded rounds of 72-71-75 for a two-over par 218 for 13th place overall, while sophomore Billy Lowry finished in 29th place with a final score of 222. LSU's Alan Morgan scored a three-round 10-under par 206 to capture medalist honors.
The Hurricane completes their fall season.
