Hilton Head, S.C. - The University of Tulsa men's golf team closes their 2008 fall season Nov. 3-4 at the inaugural Rees Jones Collegiate Invitational. The two-day event will take place at the Haig Point Golf Club on Daufuskie Island, S.C. just outside of Hilton Head.

TU heads into South Carolina coming off a second-place finish last weekend at The Landfall Tradition. They were led there by senior Nicolas Geyger, who shot three-over par for the tournament finishing in fourth place.

This year's field at the Invitational consists of seven teams ranked in the top 75 of this weeks Golfstat rankings. No. 22 South Carolina is the highest ranked team in the field. Following them are 25th ranked Tulsa, No. 29 Michigan State, No. 52 Georgia State, No. 64 San Diego State, No. 68 Middle Tennessee State and No. 73 Eastern Michigan. Rounding out the field is, Jackson State, Tennessee State, Idaho, Methodist University and Troy.
