Irving, Texas - University of Tulsa's Mitch Cohlmia (Tulsa, Okla./Jenks HS) and Nicolas Geyger (Santiago, Chile) were named co-winners of the Conference USA Golf Athlete of the Week award, as announced by the league office today.

Cohlmia and Geyger tied for medalist honors with one-under par totals of 215 at The Landfall Tradition last week. The duo led Tulsa to the team title with a 54-hole total of 868, a 26-stroke victory over second-place Xavier.

Cohlmia, a senior, fired rounds of 71-73-71 for his 54 holes at the par-72 Country Club of Landfall Marsh-Ocean Course, while the sophomore Geyger had rounds of 74-71-70. It was the first tournament title for each golfer in their collegiate careers.

For the fall season Tulsa has had four golfers earn C-USA Golf Athlete of the Week accolades.
