PRIOR TO TULSA -- Earned three letters in soccer at Lee's Summit North High School . . . as a senior, he served as team captain on a team that finished 23-3-1 . . . he recorded four goals and six assists for 14 points and was part of a defensive unit that surrendered just 15 goals in 27 games . . . was named to the all-district and all-area first teams and was selected second-team all-conference and all-metro . . . during his junior season, he served as the team captain and guided his high school team to conference and district championships in 2003 . . . as a sophomore in 2002, he was a second-team all-area and Big 8 Conference performer, and honorable mention all-metro selection . . . led his team to a 19-6-1 mark . . . was a member of the Missouri Olympic Development Program (ODP) state team in 2002 . . . led his club team, the Kansas City Legends, to four state titles and a national indoor championship in 2003 . . . a member of the National Honor Society.
