Tulsa Men's Soccer Players and Staff Participate in Make-A-Wish Send Off

Eric DeFreitas is in his third season as a graduate assistant for the men's soccer program.

A four-year letterwinner at Tulsa (2005-08), DeFreitas netted 18 goals and had 16 assists for 52 points. He helped the Golden Hurricane post 47 wins, capture the 2007 and 2008 Conference USA Championships and advance to the NCAA Tournament twice in his career.

DeFreitas garnered All-C-USA first team honors as a junior, C-USA All-Tournament team accolades as a junior and senior, C-USA All-Freshman team honors, College Soccer News Team of the Week honors once and was a Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Season selection during his junior campaign. Off the field, he was tabbed to the Tulsa Athletic Director's Honor Roll and was a C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient as a junior.

A native of Coppell, Texas, DeFreitas received his bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science in 2012, and is currently working towards his master's degree in business administration.
