Beginning his first season as an assistant coach for the Tulsa men's soccer team is Mark McIntosh.
McIntosh, who is the younger brother of TU head coach Tom McIntosh, enters his first collegiate coaching position in 2000.
His responsibilities will include overseeing practice, assist with game-day coaching duties and recruiting.
For the past seven years, McIntosh and his brother, Tom, has operated Mac's Soccer Shack at 61st and Mingo. In addition, he has coached the Tulsa Soccer Club (TSC) for the last seven years.
Previously, McIntosh played professional soccer for the Milwaukee Wave during the 1991-92 season and the Tulsa Ambush from 1992-93.
From 1986-89, McIntosh was a four-year letterwinner at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. His career numbers include 21 goals and seven assists for 49 points. He played in 79 games and earned 45 starts. As a senior, he led the Panthers in scoring with eight goals and one assist for 17 points.
McIntosh, 33, earned his bachelor's degree in communication from UW-Milwaukee in 1991.
A 1986 graduate of Tulsa's Memorial High School, McIntosh is single and resides in Tulsa.
