PRIOR TO TULSA -- Was a two-year letterwinner at Air Force . . . started 35 of 37 career games . . . registered 23 goals and seven assists for 53 career points and posted seven game-winning goals in two seasons . . . as a sophomore in 2003, completed the season ranked fourth nationally in scoring (2.0) and also ranked third in the country for goals scored . . . notched three hat tricks on the year and set a school record for consecutive hat tricks, scoring three goals in back-to-back games against Marquette and Drury, and concluded the season with five game-winning goals . . . named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Player of the Week twice and was selected as the National Student-Athlete of the Week by College Sports Television on Oct. 12 . . . led the MPSF in scoring and was named first-team all-conference, and also picked up All-Far West Region second team honors as a sophomore . . . was named to the all-conference second team and was also selected to two regular season all-tournament teams and to the MPSF all-tournament squad as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL -- A four-year letterwinner in soccer at Liberty High School . . . was an All-America selection during his senior season and was also selected as the Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year . . . completed his career as a four-time member of the all-state and all-league teams and was a two-time member of the all-Colorado team . . . tallied 14 goals and seven assists for 35 points and led LHS to a state title as a senior, and to a state runner-up finish as a junior.
PERSONAL -- A finance major . . . born June 15, 1984 . . . one of four children of Britt and Patti Wasson . . . named to the TU Athletic Director's Honor Roll as a junior . . . his sister Heidi graduated from TU in 2004 and was a member of the Tulsa women's soccer team in 2000.
