Kansas City, Kan. - The Tulsa men's soccer match against UConn will be broadcast live on NSCAATV.com, as announced today by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The TU-UConn game is scheduled for Saturday, October 11th in Storrs, Conn.

The Golden Hurricane finished last season with an 11-6-3 overall record, but fell to Charlotte in the Conference USA Championship match and narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament. TU outscored its opponents 37-19, had four players named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region team and seven players picked up C-USA accolades.

UConn finished as the American Athletic Conference Championship runner-up, advanced to the NCAA Championship quarterfinals and finished the year ranked No. 9 by the NSCAA.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams on the men's soccer pitch, as the two teams battled to a 1-1 tie in 2008 and the Huskies earned a 1-0 win in 2011.

Dean Linke will return for his seventh season as the play-by-play voice of the NSCAA College Soccer Special presented by Continental Tire. He will again be joined in the booth for the majority of the men's Division I games by former Georgetown head coach Keith Tabatznik.
