University of Tulsa senior Eric Dominguez scored two first-half goals and added one more score in the second-half to lead the Hurricane to a 3-1 exhibition victory over St Gregory's at McAuliffe Field.

The Hurricane dominated the scrimmage from start to finish. Dominguez's first score came at the 10-minute mark when he took a pass from fellow classmate Shawn McCullough and nailed a shot past Crusader goalkeeper Phillip Jackson.

With eight minutes to go before intermission, Dominguez found the net again off a crossing pass from sophomore Dustin Crane. Tulsa led at the half, 2-0.

Dominguez wasted no time scoring his third goal of the game. With just four minutes gone by in the second period, he chipped in his third goal from the left post to complete the hat trick. Junior Nasser Khalil was credited with the assist.

St. Gregory's avoided the shutout when Aaron Ault found the net off a deflection with five minutes remaining in the contest.

The Hurricane outshot the Crusaders 18-8, and sophomore goalkeeper Brent Salter collected five saves in 83 minutes before giving way to freshman Terry Boss.
