University of Tulsa Head Men's Soccer Coach Tom McIntosh welcomed 25 players, including 10 newcomers, to the TU campus on Saturday.

The Hurricane will begin two-a-day practices this Monday. Tulsa's daily preseason schedule includes morning practices beginning at 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon practice at 3:00 p.m.

"I thought all our players looked very fit, at their proper weight and very focused," McIntosh said. "Today we went through physicals and orientation. We'll do some fitness testing on Sunday before we begin two-a-day practices on Monday. I'm very excited about this season and ready to start practicing."

Tulsa will scrimmage St. Gregory's on Sunday, August 20 at 7:35 p.m. at the Union Eighth Grade School soccer field located at 6501 South Garnett. Tulsa opens its 20th season of men's soccer against Pac-10 member Oregon State on Friday, September 1 at 7:35 p.m. That game will also be played at the Union Eighth Grade School soccer field.
