Tulsa, Oklahoma - Justin Chavez, Hunter Christiansen, Ashley McInnes, Austin Neil and Chris Taylor were all selected to the Top Drawer Soccer Conference USA Top-20 Players to Watch List, as announced today. The Tulsa men's soccer team had the most players selected to the team, followed by UAB (4), South Carolina (3), Kentucky (2), UCF (2), FIU (2), Marshall (1) and SMU (1).
Neil was the top overall player named to the team, McInnes was second, Chavez was fifth, Taylor was seventh and Christiansen was 19th.
A junior forward from Broken Arrow, Okla., Neil was named to the Soccer America and College Soccer News Preseason All-America teams, was selected as the C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, picked up Preseason All-C-USA Team honors and was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List earlier this month. Neil has started in 27 of 42 career contests, and knocked in 24 goals and had seven assists for 55 career points.
McInnes, a senior forward from Aberdeen, Scotland, has also earned Soccer America and College Soccer News Preseason All-America honors, and was named to the Preseason All-C-USA team and to the Hermann Trophy Watch List earlier this month. McInnes is a three-year letterwinner and two-year starter, who has posted 18 goals and 18 assists for 54 career points.
A junior defender from Edmond, Okla., Chavez is the C-USA Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Chavez was also selected to the Preseason All-C-USA team and was named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List this season. He is a two-year starter and has netted three goals and three assists for nine career points, while helping the Golden Hurricane defense post 17 shutouts.
Taylor, a senior defender from Edmond, Okla., was selected to the Preseason All-C-USA team. The three-year letterwinner has helped anchor the TU defense throughout his career, starting all 65 games and posting 25 shutouts.

A senior midfielder from Denton, Texas, Christiansen is a three-year letterwinner who has started 52 of 56 career contests. He has scored eight goals and posted nine assists for 25 career points.
