Providence, R.I. - Tulsa senior Austin Neil and sophomore Jake McGuire were tabbed as the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively, as announced today by the league office.

Neil scored a goal and earned an assist, while also posting a team-best six shots, four of which were on goal, en route to a 2-1 double-overtime victory over SIU-Edwardsville.

McGuire, who played all 190:31 in goal this weekend, recorded 11 saves for a 0.846 saves percentage. He had seven saves and one goal against verse Saint Louis, and four saves and one goal against verse SIUE.

Tulsa will return to action next weekend, hosting the Holiday Inn Hurricane Classic on September 5th and 7th, featuring Virginia, CSUN, UAB and TU. The Golden Hurricane will take on Virginia on Friday beginning at 7:30 pm, and CSUN on Sunday at 2:30 pm. All games of the tournament will be played at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.
