Tulsa, Oklahoma - Radisson Tulsa Airport Classic Tournament Central

Akron, the nation's top-ranked men's soccer team, 12th-ranked Tulsa, 18th-ranked SMU and Seattle will be competing in the Radisson Tulsa Airport Classic this Friday and Sunday, Sept. 4th and 6th, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

SMU and UA will square off on Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m., while TU and SU will kick off at 7:35 p.m. On Sunday, the Mustangs and Redhawks will take to the field at 1:00 p.m., while the Golden Hurricane and Zips will face off at 7:35 p.m.

Tulsa enters the weekend with a 1-0 mark after topping Missouri State, 2-0, on Tuesday in their season opener. The Golden Hurricane will look to defend its home field, as TU has not lost a regular-season home contest since falling to 18th-ranked Virginia Tech in 2007, spanning 16 games.

The Golden Hurricane will be led by Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year, Ashley McInnes, who is expected to return to action this weekend after setting out the first game of the year due to an injury. Also leading the attack will be senior Jose Parada and sophomore Corey Albertson who each have scored one goal apiece already this year.

SMU and Akron will both begin their seasons this weekend, while Seattle dropped a 1-0 decision to Washington earlier this week.

Tulsa has only faced Akron once in school history, with the Zips taking home the win back in 1993, while this will be the first meeting between the Hurricane and the Redhawks.

Tickets are $4 for youth (16 and under) and $6 for adults, while on Sunday TU is offering Family Day tickets which includes two adult and two youth tickets for $10.
