Irving, Texas - Tulsa's Bradley Bourgeois was named as the Conference USA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, as announced today by the league office.

Bourgeois, a sophomore from Cypress, Texas, played all 90 minutes against Valparaiso and assisted the Golden Hurricane to a 4-0 shutout victory. He helped hold the previously unbeaten Crusaders to just four shots, only one of which was on goal.

This was Bourgeois first career weekly honor and TU's second weekly defensive accolade of the season as Cody Mumma picked up the same honor on Sept. 9th.
