Tulsa Men's Soccer Team to Host Memphis This Friday

Golden Hurricane enters contest with 5-2-1 mark

Tulsa, Okla. - The 14th-ranked Tulsa men's soccer team will host Memphis on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.

TU enters the contest with a 5-2-1 mark, after tying eighth-ranked SMU last Friday, 2-2, while the Tigers own a 5-1-2 record and are coming off an impressive 5-0 victory over Centenary on Sept. 29 at home.

Tulsa moved up to a season-best No. 14 national ranking by Soccer America this week, nearing the Golden Hurricane's highest national ranking which came in 2004 when TU finished the season ranked eighth in the NSCAA Coaches Poll.

The Golden Hurricane and Memphis have met four times, with the Tigers boasting a 3-0-1 advantage in the series, including a 3-0 victory last season.
