Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa men's and women's soccer teams will play in a double-header this Friday, October 17th at the Hurricane Soccer & Track Stadium. The Golden Hurricane women will take on UAB (5-9, 3-3 C-USA) beginning at 6:00 p.m., while the 12th-ranked TU men's team will face UCF (6-5, 3-1 C-USA) at 8:35 p.m.

On the women's side, TU (6-7-2, 1-4-1 C-USA) will be led by a multitude of players, including juniors Hannah Taylor and Jennifer Kacergis who have scored five goals apiece, while classmate Courtney Chadney has tallied three goals this season. Senior Kendall Harclerode has logged over 1300 minutes in goal this season, picked up 57 saves and has recorded six shutouts.

The Golden Hurricane women have won two of the three meetings with UAB, while the Blazers won their only game of the series, a 2-0 decision, last year.

The Tulsa (8-3-1, 4-0 C-USA) men will look to keep their six-game winning streak alive. During that time, TU has out-scored its opponent 16-4, including a 3-0 win in the last contest.

Freshman Austin Neil has a team-best five goals, including three game-winners, and 12 points, leading TU in all three categories. Senior Eric DeFreitas, and sophomores Jeovahnni Sandez, Chris Taylor and Zach Nulisch have two goals apiece. Senior Tyrel Lacey has spent every minute of the season in goal, registered 46 saves and has given up just 10 goals on the year.

The Golden Hurricane men have won all four previous meetings with the Knights, including a 2-1 victory last season in Orlando.
