Three Tulsa Men's Soccer Players Earn ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Honors

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Ashley McInnes, Zach Nulisch and Chris Taylor were selected to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI men's soccer team, as announced today by the College Sports Information Director's of America (CoSIDA). The trio is now eligible to receive ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America accolades.

McInnes, a senior from Aberdeen, Scotland, maintains a 3.34 GPA in energy management. He has tallied eight goals and four assists for a team-leading 20 points this season. McInnes was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and was a C-USA All-Academic Honoree as a junior.

A senior from Sunnyvale, Texas, Nulisch has a 3.96 GPA in finance and is a two-time All-District honoree. He has one goal and three assists for five points on the season. Nulisch was named to the TU President's List as a freshman and sophomore, and to the Dean's List as a junior. He also picked up C-USA Academic Medalists honors all three years. During his sophomore season, Nulisch was selected to the C-USA All-Academic team and picked up ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI first team honors.

Taylor, a senior from Edmond, Okla., maintains a 3.81 GPA in management and family owned business. He has one goal and two assists for four points on the year. Taylor was named to the TU Athletic Director's Honor Roll and was selected as a C-USA All-Academic Honoree as a freshman, and as a sophomore, was named to the Tulsa Dean's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Honoree. During his junior season, Taylor was named to the C-USA All-Academic Team and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI first team, as well as the Tulsa Dean's List and was a C-USA All-Academic Medalist.
