Tulsa, Oklahoma - The seventh-ranked Tulsa men's soccer team was named as an eight seed in the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. TU will host the winner of the Missouri State-Saint Louis game on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium.

"We are happy that after playing this weekend that we can get a little bit of a break and not have to play on Thursday," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "It is good for us and good for the city to see top level soccer here at Tulsa. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to face either Missouri State or Saint Louis on Sunday."

The Golden Hurricane boasts a 13-4-2 mark on the season after winning both the Conference USA regular season and tournament titles for the third-straight season.

Tulsa faced both teams earlier this year, picking up a 2-0 win in the season opener against Missouri State and a 4-3 double-overtime victory over Saint Louis.

"I think obviously they are two very good teams," McIntosh said. "Missouri State (12-4-2) has been good all year, only losing four games. They have been really consistent, they don't give up many goals and they are very good defensively. Saint Louis (14-6) is very similar to us in terms of how our seasons went. Our game earlier this year was a turning point for both teams. We both have played really well since we faced each other in late September, and we both went on to win a lot of games and our conference championships. I am looking forward to seeing that game. It will be a really good game and we looking forward to playing either team."
