JUNIOR (2010-11) - Finished the year with a 3-2 singles mark and a perfect 4-0 doubles record . . . all four doubles matches came in the fall at the RazorRacket Classic . . . also posted a 2-1 singles record at the event in Fayetteville, Ark. . . . defeated Elliot Butay of Oral Roberts in straight sets from No. 6 singles in his lone action of the spring . . . named an ITA Scholar Athlete.
SOPHOMORE (2009-10) - Compiled a 7-6 singles record and 2-5 doubles mark . . . went 2-1 in the No. 5 and 6 singles positions during the duel season . . . went 3-0 in Flight 4 singles at the Razorback Invitational . . . posted a 2-2 singles record at the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships . . . compiled a 2-4 doubles record with Alastair Barnes during the fall.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2008-09) - Compiled a 5-4 singles record and an 8-4 doubles mark as a red-shirt freshman. . . picked up his first collegiate singles win against James Wilson of Texas Tech at the HEB Baylor Intercollegiate . . . advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles at the ITA Regionals with partner Rusty Turpin . . . the duo also went 6-1 during the duel season, with all the matches coming in the No. 3 position . . . won two singles matches at the ITA Regionals.
FRESHMAN (2007-08) - Took a redshirt in his first year with Tulsa.
PRIOR TO TULSA - Won four Oklahoma Class 3A state singles championships (three at No. 1 and one at No. 2) at Cascia Hall Preparatory High School, as well as leading his team to four Class 3A titles . . . was ranked second in the U18 USTA Missouri Valley final rankings of 2006 . . . played doubles with Tulsa teammate James Seagraves in juniors . . . was a four-star recruit by tennisrecruiting.net . . . selected Tulsa over Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
PERSONAL - Majoring in biology pre-med . . . son of Brian and Kelli Collins . . . has one younger brother . . . his father was on the swim team at Kansas . . . a TU Presidential Scholar.

Since the opening of the Donald W. Reynolds Center in 1998, Tulsa’s athletic facilities have undergone a major facelift. New facilities include the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, the Collins Family Softball Complex, the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium, the J. Bird Sr. Shell Nest, the Jack Zink Indoor Rowing Center, the Case Athletic Complex and major renovation to H.A. Chapman Stadium.
TU is 75th among national doctoral universities in U. S. News & World Report's 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. TU's 2011 freshman class had a mean cumulative grade point average of 3.8, and 74 percent graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school classes. Their average ACT was 28.
