JUNIOR (2012-13) - Became the first player in school history to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament, falling to eventual champion Blaz Rola of Ohio State to be named an All-American . . . named C-USA Tennis Athlete of the Week on March 19 and C-USA Tennis Athlete of the Month in October . . . was an ITA All- American Quarterfinalist and a National Indoor Championship Participant . . . named the 2013 ITA Central Region Player to Watch ... named All-C-USA SIngles First team . . .his final ITA ranking of 24th is the highest in school history since 2009 when Arnau Brugues was ranked second in the final ranking . . . finished the season with a 25-12 ledger, including 14 of his 25 victories coming against ranked opponents and ended his season winning nine of his final 10 matches . . . named the ITA Central Region Player to Watch for 2013-14.

SOPHOMORE (2011-12) - Finished the season with an 11-18 singles record with a 7-12 mark at the No. 1 position . . . compiled a 12-10 doubles record . . . named to the all-C-USA Singles First Team . . . honored as one half of the Conference USA Doubles Team of the Championship . . . recorded singles victories over No. 31 Sebastian Fanselow of Pepperdine and No. 86 Akash Muppidi of Boston College . . . earned a career-high ITA singles rank of No. 29 on Sept. 9.

FRESHMAN (2010-11) - Joined Tulsa in the spring and won his first 19 singles matches, ending his rookie campaign with a 20-6 record . . . finished the season with a 21-6 doubles mark, playing primarily at the second position . . . started at No. 6 singles and worked his way into the No. 2 position for the latter part of the year . . . competed in the first round of the NCAA Singles Championship as an alternate, falling to No. 7 Alexandre Lacroix of Florida 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 . . . earned Conference USA Freshman of the Year and ITA Central Region Rookie of the Year accolades . . . named to the all-C-USA Singles First Team and the all-C-USA Doubles Second Team . . . earned the Conference USA Player of the Week honors three times (January 25, March 1, April 5) . . . captured victories over two ranked opponents, No. 32 Ryan Thacher of Stanford and No. 79 Costin Paval of Oklahoma . . . earned a career-high ITA singles rank of No. 62 on May 2, 2011, and ended the year ranked No. 65 in the nation . . . won his first 14 matches with teammate Marcelo Arevalo before ending the year with a 17-4 mark in doubles as a tandem . . . teamed with Arevalo to defeat Ben Chen and Kellen Damico of Texas 9-7 in the NCAA Second Round to help Tulsa secure the doubles point and vault the Golden Hurricane into its first appearance in the Round of 16 . . . reached a career-high doubles rank with Arevalo of No. 39 on March 1, 2011.

PRIOR TO TULSA - Was the No. 1 player on his prep team at Stellenbosch High School team . . . his prep team won the Wayne Ferreira Challenge his sophomore and junior years . . . the challenge is an annual invitational pitting the top high school teams in a national championship tournament . . . captured three individual national championships in South Africa, the U-15, U-16 and U-18 national titles.
