The Golden Hurricane Club, as the primary fundraising arm of TU Athletics, works to provide every TU student-athlete with the opportunity to realize a world-class athletic and academic experience.

TULSA - A two-time letterwinner . . . compiled a career 9-15 singles record and a 2-7 doubles record. FALL (2009) - Went 1-2 in singles action this past fall . . . earned his only win in the first round of qualifying singles of the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships. JUNIOR (2008-09) - Posted a 3-6 singles and a 1-3 doubles record . . . won two singles matches at the ITA Regionals . . . picked up his only doubles victory at the Baylor Intercollegiate with partner James Seagraves. SOPHOMORE (2007-08) - Finished with a 5-7 singles record and a 1-4 doubles mark in his first season with the Tulsa program . . . went 3-2 in the No. 6 singles position . . . won his first match as a member of the Golden Hurricane at the Rice Invitational against Jon Greenberg of Rice . . . reached the finals of Flight C singles at the Rice Invitational. PRIOR TO TULSA - Spent his freshman year at Houston CC . . . ranked 28th in the final 2003 USTA National Junior Singles Rankings for U14 . . . graduated from Mission San Jose High School. PERSONAL - Majoring in energy management . . . parents are Ray Jou and Cynthia Chen. |
