FALL OF 2001 – Was 8-5 in singles and 8-3 in doubles . . . with doubles partner Dane McGregor, won five straight matches en route to the Region V Doubles Championship . . . the duo won their first eight doubles contests, including a 7-0 win over Oklahoma State’s 45th-ranked tandem . . . was named the WAC Player of the Month for October . . . lost his first-round singles match at the 2001 Region V Championships, but rebounded with five straight victories to capture the consolation title.
JUNIOR (2000-01) – Notched a career-best 14-21 singles mark and a 18-13 doubles record . . . was named to the all-WAC doubles first team . . . was 16-12 in doubles with McGregor and the duo was ranked as high as No. 27 nationally . . . recorded a 5-5 singles record and a 7-4 doubles mark during the fall . . . finished with a 3-2 record at the Arkansas Invitational . . . won 2-of-3 contests at the Hurricane Invitational . . . reached the finals of the Flight “A” Arkansas Invitational with Pawel Sebastyanski . . . was named to the all-WAC Academic team.
SOPHOMORE (1999-2000) – Completed the season with a 13-13 overall singles mark and a 13-14 doubles record . . . was named to the all-WAC Academic team . . . was selected the WAC Player of the Week on Feb. 20 . . . began the spring season with a 5-3 singles mark . . . completed the fall campaign with a 6-4 singles mark . . . captured two matches each at the Hurricane Invitational, the ITA Regional Championships and the Region V Championships . . . finished with a 8-6 record in doubles with Sean Monk.
FRESHMAN (1998-99) – Capped off his first season at TU with seven singles wins and 15 doubles victories . . . finished with a 14-14 record with Sean Monk at the No. 3 doubles position . . . won five straight doubles matches with Monk to end the spring season . . . advanced to the second round in singles and doubles at the 1998 ITA Rolex Championships with Monk.
PRIOR TO TULSA – Ranked No. 6 in juniors in 1997 in India . . . won the intercollegiate doubles at South India level . . . received the silver medal at the India National games.
PERSONAL – Majoring in management information systems . . . a three-time member of the TU Athletic Director’s Honor Roll . . . the only child of Sudhakara and Sachidevi Sudhakara . . . born September 22, 1980.
