FALL OF 2000 – Capped off a terrific fall season with a 10-3 singles record and a 5-3 doubles mark . . . won five straight matches during the fall and advanced to the semifinals of the Flight “A” singles at the Arkansas Invitational with a 3-1 mark . . . won all three singles contests at the Hurricane Invitational . . . finished 2-2 at the Region V Championships . . . was 3-2 in doubles with partner, Sean Monk . . . reached the Flight “B” doubles with Mike Nammar at the Arkansas Invitational. JUNIOR (1999-2000) – Transferred to Tulsa from Kansas prior to the 1999 fall campaign . . . completed his first season at Tulsa with a 16-12 singles mark . . . the 16 wins were the second highest on the team . . . was 8-3 at the No. 6 singles position and 2-0 at the No. 4 spot in the lineup . . . registered a dual mark of 10-8 . . . was named the WAC Player of the Week on Feb. 7 . . . won five straight singles matches to begin the spring campaign . . . was 8-3 against Region V players in singles . . . completed the fall season with a 6-4 singles record . . . captured four of his six matches at the ITA Regional Championships . . . won two matches at the Hurricane Invitational. PRIOR TO TULSA – Spent two seasons at the University of Kansas where he tallied a singles mark of 23-16 and a doubles record of 2-6. HIGH SCHOOL – Led Jenks High School to four straight Oklahoma State Championships from 1994-1997 . . . was an all-state selection and the Oklahoma High School Tennis Player of the Year in 1997 . . . received the Tulsa Sportsmanship Award as a senior. PERSONAL – a marketing major . . . a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll . . . one of two children of Yohanan and Cynthia Zomer . . . born August 13, 1977.
