Waco, Texas - The University of Tulsa's Arnau Brugues and Federico Soriano each dropped matches in the round of 16 of the green draw on Saturday night at the Baylor HEB Intercollegiate in Waco, Texas.

Brugues, who boasts a No. 7 national ranking, dropped his match against No. 63 Adam Holstrom of Denver University.

Soriano, No. 40 in the nation, dropped his round of 16 match-up to No. 22 Martin Sayer of Radford by the score of 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (3).

With the two losses, Tulsa's play at the Baylor Intercollegiate tournament is concluded.

The Tulsa men's tennis team will next be in action at the Polo Ralph Lauren All-American Tournament that will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on TU's campus from Sept. 30 through Oct. 8.
