Espejo Advances To Second Round Of Qualifying At ITA All-American Championships

Qualifying Singles Bracket TULSA, Okla. - Sophomore Alejandro Espejo won his first match during the qualifying singles round at the ITA Men's All-American Championships on Monday, October 1 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. Espejo dispatched Geraldo Meza of Clemson in a close 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory to advance to the second round tomorrow. He will face David Holiner of Texas in a 10:30 matchup. In addition to the second and third rounds of singles qualifying, the first round of doubles qualifying will begin tomorrow. Admission to the ITAAll-American Championship is free.
