De Klerk and Kirby advance to the third round of the qualifying doubles at the Saint Francis ITA All-American

TULSA,Okla. - Doubles team of Japie De Klerk and Matthew Kirby advanced to the third round of the qualifying doubles at the Saint Francis ITA All-American on Tuesday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
After receiving a first round bye, De Klerk and Kirby defeated San Diego's doubles team of Uros Petronijevic and Clarke Spinosa 8-5 in the second round of the qualifying doubles on Tuesday.
De Klerk and Kirby face NC State's Nick Horton and Sean Weber, who are ranked No. 12 in the qualify doubles, at 9 a.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Wednesday.
The doubles team of Carlos Bautista and Daniel Santos fell 8-6 to UCLA's doubles team of Marcos Giron and Mackenzie McDonald in the first round of the qualifying doubles.
In the qualifying consolation singles, Alejandro Espejo defeated UNLV's Gilad Berman 6-2, 1-0 (ret.). Carlos Bautista won his match 6-3, 6-3 over Florida State's Marco Nunez, but Dylan McCloskey fell to Baylor Tony Lupieri 6-2, 6-2.
